MCP server

Ask ChatGPT or Claude about TwoApps

We give every system we build an MCP server, so we run one for ourselves too. Connect it to the assistant you already use and ask what we do, what we've shipped and how to book a call.

Read-onlyNo sign-inWorks with ChatGPT, Claude, Codex,

What it is

01 / Public facts

Our services and case studies, straight from the site

The server answers from the same content you read on thetwoapps.com: services, shipped work, research, the glossary and the blog.

02 / Read-only

It looks things up. It never sends, stores or books.

Every tool is marked read-only. It can't send messages, save your details or book a call for you. It gives you the booking link instead.

03 / No prices

Pricing is scoped on a call

We don't publish prices, so the server doesn't guess. Ask about cost and it points you to a short call with the team.

How to connect

Connect it in a minute

Use the endpoint https://thetwoapps.com/api/mcp. There's no sign-in, so choose "no authentication" wherever you're asked.

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Name it "TwoApps" and paste https://thetwoapps.com/api/mcp as the URL. Leave the OAuth fields empty.
  4. Turn the connector on in a chat, then ask: "What does TwoApps build?"

Custom connectors depend on your Claude plan and, on team plans, your admin's settings.

claude mcp add --transport http twoapps https://thetwoapps.com/api/mcp
  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Create a new app, name it "TwoApps" and paste https://thetwoapps.com/api/mcp as the MCP server URL.
  3. Set authentication to No authentication, then create it.
  4. In a new chat, pick TwoApps from the tools menu and ask your question.

Developer mode depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings. Menu names can change as ChatGPT updates.

Run:

codex mcp add twoapps --url https://thetwoapps.com/api/mcp

Or add it to ~/.codex/config.toml:

[mcp_servers.twoapps]
url = "https://thetwoapps.com/api/mcp"

Cursor: ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project)

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "twoapps": { "url": "https://thetwoapps.com/api/mcp" }
  }
}

VS Code: .vscode/mcp.json

{

    "twoapps": { "type": "http", "url": "https://thetwoapps.com/api/mcp" }
  }
}
  • Up to 60 requests a minute from one IP address. Past that, the server replies 429 with a Retry-After header.
  • Requests larger than 64 KB are refused.
  • Search returns at most 10 results per call.
  • The server is stateless: no sessions, and nothing is remembered between calls.
  • Answers come from public site content and change when the site changes.
  • There's no sign-in, and the server never asks who you are.
  • We don't store the questions or inputs your assistant sends. The tools only read public site content.
  • Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (such as IP address, time and response code) for security and abuse prevention.
  • Your assistant's own provider (for example OpenAI or Anthropic) handles your conversation under its own privacy policy.

Full details are in our privacy policy and the acceptable-use terms. Questions or problems: team@thetwoapps.com.

Next Step

Want an MCP server for your business?

We build them for clients too: read-only first, with a human approving anything that sends, posts, pays or deletes. Book a call and we'll scope it.
